TEAS & HERBAL INFUSIONS

Along with my passion for knitting, over the years I have developed a second passion for herbal teas and infusions of all kinds. What could be better than sitting down to knit while sipping on a mint tea or flavored tea? It’s my own way of getting the best of both worlds 😉

I told my husband for a long time that if I hadn’t evolved into wool and knitting, I definitely would have worked in the tea and herbal tea business! He finally told me: well, you’ve been talking about it for a long time, it’s time to start…
After months of preparation, I have the pleasure to present you a first selection of 3 infusions, 2 herbal teas and 1 tea.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TEA AND HERBAL TEA?

Tea is prepared with the leaves of the tea plant and contains theine (a less aggressive form of caffeine).
Herbal tea is made with herbs and/or spices and does not contain theine. Depending on the herbs used, it can have calming, regenerating, curative properties, etc.

HERE ARE THE VERY FIRST HERBAL TEAS OF MY COLLECTION

TISANES LOUISE ROBERT
Digestive herbal tea

DIGESTIVE HERBAL TEA

While this herbal tea is best enjoyed after a hearty meal, you’ll want to sip it at any time of the day! Composed entirely of 100% natural organic ingredients selected to facilitate digestion, you will appreciate its peppermint aroma that blends so well with fennel, ginger and holy basil!

Preparation:
Infuse 1 to 2 teaspoons of herbal tea in 1 cup of boiling water. Suggested brewing time: 5 minutes.

Ingredients:
Air-dried organic rosehip peel, organic fennel seeds, air-dried organic orange peel, organic ginger root, organic peppermint leaves, organic holy basil (tulsi) leaves. Theine/caffeine free.

BANANA DESERT TEA

Free of added flavor, you will enjoy this white tea with this natural and delicious banana taste. Stir well to enjoy all the ingredients.

Preparation:
Infuse 1 to 2 teaspoons of tea in 1 cup of simmering water at 90°C (194 °F). If you notice a bit of bitterness, it is because your water is too hot: avoid boiling water! Suggested brewing time: 5 to 8 minutes.

Ingredients:
Dried bananas, organic white tea, toasted coconut. Low level of theine/caffeine.

LAVENDER & HONEY HERBAL TEA

Lavender infusion is known for its calming effect and it is simply delicious when combined with honey! Since the small crystals of honey will tend to fall to the bottom of the container, make sure to stir well to enjoy all the ingredients!

Preparation:
Infuse 1 to 2 teaspoons of herbal tea in 1 cup of boiling water. Suggested brewing time: 5 minutes.

Ingredients:
Organic honeybush tea, honey crystals, officinal (true) lavender petals, organic anise seeds, cornflower petals. Tea/caffeine free.
