Bain de soleil shawl

I am very happy with this new shawl design: Bain de Soleil (which means “sunbath” in french)  😉

This design was inspired by colors (as always) and textures of different yarns blended together: Flamel (for the look of alpaca), Fizwizbiz (for the lovely 1ply-sparkling effect) and Hermione (my beloved fuzzy silk mohair) !!

I was helped by Romeo who gave me his approval on this new chilly cat blanket  😛

Look at this face!! Romeo needs a bath (not a sunbath but a real one!!)  😆

Ok so now you can have a look to this finished Bain de Soleil shawl below (I was not very happy with the pictures, I will need a bright and sunny summer day to show all the beauty of these colours 🌞)

  1. What a beautiful shawl. About me… I am a retired RN. I’ve been knitting for almost 65 yrs!! And now can knit every day. I make tons of socks, many shawls, lots of baby things, and of course sweaters, hats, mitts. My Ravelry name is iamknittycat. Please take a look at some of my projects.
I’d love to hear more about how the test knitting works. Would love to be involved with such a pretty project.
